My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although spacious and comfortable, was noisy with a door banging all night. It offered an obstructed view of the lake; however, it was not very clean, lacked the fan as advertised, and had a persistent smell in the bathroom. On the bright side, the location was excellent for watching the sunrise and enjoying the view of the lake and volcanos, with many great restaurants within walking distance.
